PTA & Volunteering

The purpose of the Cleveland Elementary PTA is to support the school’s efforts in achieving equitable outcomes for our students, to create opportunities to form and deepen relationships, and to ensure involvement and inclusiveness for all families. We work closely with Cleveland’s principal, teachers, and families to identify priorities for enrichment; and we raise and allocate funds to accomplish these goals. It is also an opportunity for parents and guardians to obtain knowledge and voice their opinions about what is happening at school.

Meetings

  1. Community Meetings are held monthly on the third Wednesday of the month from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Meetings will be held on campus at the multi-purpose room. 

  1. Coffee Chats are held monthly on the last Friday of the month from 8:30am - 9:00am in front of the multi-purpose room.

Volunteering 

The Cleveland Elementary PTA is powered by volunteers like you! Volunteering is a great way to make a positive impact in our school community as well as a great way to build community with other parents and guardians. 

There are all different kinds of volunteer opportunities with varying levels of time commitment. There are some roles you can also do from your home! You can even grab a friend or two and share a volunteer role.

  • Communications Team

Single Day or Event Opportunities

  • Cleveland’s Ecoliteracy Events: four grade-level events throughout the year (Soup Day, Salad Day, Pizza Day, and Little Red Hen Day. Volunteers are requested in weeks leading up.
  • PTA Community Events: Noodle Night (beginning of year) and Culture Night (end of year) are special nights for our families to gather, connect, and share food! Volunteers are requested in weeks leading up.
